100 YARD RANGE RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

      (The 100 yard range will be closed on federal holidays that fall on Mondays)

 

  1. The 100 yard range is open on Mondays from 12:00 PM till Dusk and has priority over  all other ranges Normal range shooting must stop at 11:30 AM
  2. A club appointed range safety officer must be present (other wise the range is closed and may not be used). ( The 100 yard range is closed  and the range operates as normal )
  3. The gate must be locked and the 100 yard range in-use sign must be placed on the gate.
  4. The lock on the gate must be changed to a lock that only safety officers have a key too.
  5. Cars must be parked well away from the 25/50 yard firing lines
  6. Shots may be fired from inside or outside the 100 yard range shed.
  7. All rounds must impact into the burm for safety (remember our burm faces the ocean and people may be fishing).
  8. Any member found shooting from the 100 yard line/shed  may be subject to having their key taken and their membership placed on immediately temporary suspension If they are not a safety officer or a safety officer is not present

     Club members found shooting from the 100 yard line/shed when no safety officer is present by a club safety officer or a member of the board of directors shall be asked to immediately stop shooting and leave the range and his or her membership to the club placed on immediately temporary suspicion and their gate key taken by the club officer or board of director’s member.

    The member whose club membership is placed in a state of temporary suspicion has the right to have the suspicion reviewed by the board of directors in accordance with article III of the club by-laws.

    If the member’s suspicion is not made permanent by a majority vote of the board of directors, the member shall comply with all conditions set down by the board of directors
